IAAEU - Institute for Labour Law and Labour Relations in the EU

Labour and Personnel Economists from Kaiserslautern, Strasbourg, Lorraine, Luxembourg and Trier are intensifying their co-operation. On November 23 and 24, 2017, about 20 researchers will meet at the Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union (IAAEU). During the conference, the participants will present and discuss their most recent research. Inter alia, the impact of childcare policies on labour market outcomes will be looked at. Other contributions focus on minimum wages and unemployment insurance. Moreover, a topic which is extremely relevant in our region will be considered, namely the role of commuting. A further presentation will focus on the impact on a firm's performance due to communicating in a foreign language. In addition to the academic discussion, the participants will also examine the opportunities for further co-operation. This meeting is the second such conference; the previous one also took place at the IAAEU in Trier about a year ago. Visitors are welcome. We would be grateful if you could inform us about your desire to participate (to Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist vor Spambots geschützt!
